Start your Online Application for Admission
You can save your progress and exit at any time. The application includes the following
sections:

  • Review and Submit

Step 3:

Audition/Portfolio: Review and prepare your Audition/Portfolio Materials. See detailed requirements and guidance based on your chosen arts focus.

Step 4:

Financial Aid: If applicable, submit application for Financial Aid. See detailed information and instructions.

Step 5:

Submit Your Online Application for Admission by returning to the Admissions Community, reviewing your application and submitting your materials by the posted deadline.

Decision Periods and Deadlines

If you are applying for financial aid, the application for financial aid must be submitted concurrently with the application for admission as the admission notification and the financial aid package are issued at the same time. See our financial aid page for details.

Timeline for Application to 2017-2018, Mid-Year Entrance (Term: Winter 2018):

Please contact the Office of Admission at 231.276.7472 or admission@interlochen.org for details regarding 2017-2018, Mid-Year Entrance (Term: Winter 2018) applications. Please note: Accepted students are required to arrive on January 2, 2018.

 

Timeline for Applications to the 2018-19 Academy Year:

Early Decision
Deadline for Admission and Financial Aid Application: November 15, 2017
Decisions Sent: December 15, 2017
Decision Reply Date: January 5, 2018

Regular Decision
Deadline for Admission and Financial Aid Application: February 1, 2018
Decisions Sent: March 10, 2018
Decision Reply Date: April 10, 2018

Spring Decision
If applicable space and funding remains:
Deadline for Admission and Financial Aid Applications: May 1, 2018
Decisions Sent: Early June
Decision Reply Date: Late June

Applications received after decision deadlines will be reviewed on a rolling basis as space and funding permits.
