Financial Aid for International Applicants

Interlochen Arts Academy offers limited financial aid for applicants who reside outside the United States. International families seeking financial aid must submit the following to the Office of Financial Aid:

  1. International Application for Financial Aid - download the PDF.
  2. An official letter, in English, from the employer of each parent/guardian that verifies employment, current salary, and other compensation.
  3. Official documentation, in English, or additional income sources, assets, bank accounts and other holdings.
  4. Special Circumstances Letter (optional). Families may choose to submit a letter that details any new circumstances or expenses.

Application materials should be submitted via email to finaid@interlochen.org. Please include the student's name in the subject line or all emails sent to the Office of Financial Aid.

Timeline

The financial aid committee will meet on a monthly basis while funding remains. Please see the committee schedule below and the dates by which a complete application for financial aid must be submitted in order to be reviewed by the committee. Please note, the financial aid committee will review only students who have been accepted for admission.

After July 14, 2014, the financial aid committee will meet on a weekly basis until the Arts Academy is full and/or all available funding has been exhausted.
