Non-native English speakers will be required to attend the English as a Second Language Orientation Program and take a placement exam to identify placement in English as a Second Language Curriculum.

Interlochen Arts Academy encourages international students to become a part of the Interlochen community. We are well-acquainted with the difficulties of studying abroad and are equipped to help make it an enriching experience for all students.

The Academy will make every effort to place international students with English-speaking roommates in order to help with their English and cultural adjustment.
