Short films by Aaron Jaffe (MPA, Academy '08) and Chad Engel (MPA, Academy '09) have been selected for screening at the 5th annual Traverse City Film Festival, which will take place July 28 - August 2, 2009. The festival was founded in 2005 by filmmaker Michael Moore, author Doug Stanton and photographer John Robert Williams and last year posted over 80,000 admissions to nearly 100 screenings. Jaffe's piece, Trim, and Engel's piece, Mary's Ring, will be part of the festival's shorts program.
