Chris Dombrowski's second collection of poems, Earth Again, is forthcoming spring 2013 from Wayne State University Press. He is also the author of By Cold Water (WSUP), a finalist for ForeWord Magazine's Poetry Book of the Year, and the chapbooks Fragments with Dusk in Them (Punctilious Press) and September Miniatures with Blood and Mars (Checker Press). He was born in Michigan and educated at Hope College and the University of Montana. His poems have appeared in numerous literary journals, including Beloit Poetry Journal, Crazyhorse, Denver Quarterly, Gulf Coast, New Letters, and Poetry. His awards include the Associated Writing Programs' Intro Award, Alligator Juniper's National Poetry Prize, and a writing fellowship from the UCross Foundation. In venues such as Outside, Gray's Sporting Journal, Orion, and The Sun, he has published essays and articles that chronicle his fifteen summers as a river-guide in Montana. He has taught creative writing at the University of Montana and Interlochen Arts Academy, where he was Writer-in-Residence in 2007.
