Jeffrey Wescott has been an Instructor of English at Interlochen Arts Academy since 1997. He is also a Faculty Reader for the Advanced Placement English Language and Literature examinations.
Mr. Wescott has also taught English at Milton Academy, Milton, MA; The Wheeler School, Providence, RI; and the University of New Hampshire (graduate teaching assistant). Some of the grants and awards he has earned include: Symposium Guest Lecturer in Mythology, Pacifica Graduate Institute (2013); Interlochen Arts Academy Sabbatical Award (2010); Interlochen Teacher Achievement Award (2005); Interlochen Faculty-Staff Enrichment Program Grants (2002, 2004, 2008); Milton Academy Faculty Grant (1996); Independent Teacher-Scholar of the National Endowment for the Humanities (1997); and a Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Curriculum Design Award (1994).
