When looking at the next step finances typically if not always in this economy play an issue. Several reminders with this in mind:
Always fill out the FAFSA regardless of whether you believe you will receive aid.
The aid package you received from Interlochen is not indicitive of the aid package you will receive from a post-secondary school.
Note which schools also ask for the CSS Profile as well as the FAFSA.
Exploration for scholarship and awards other than those federally subsidized or given by the individual school should occur no later than the junior year. Many scholarship deadlines are in the fall during the time applications are being submitted.
