Travel Plans IAA Transportation Request Form - (Non Break Related Trips)

This form is only for non-break related transporation requests to the Traverse City airport or bus depot.

Submission of this form is not and should not be considered a request to be excused from missing classes. Students who will be missing classes must still complete the Off Campus Request form at least seven calendar days prior to departure for pre-approval. Students must pick up the Off Campus Request form from the Academic & College Counseling Department. Please refer to the “Off-Campus Permission” and/or “College Auditions/Visits” sections of the Student Handbook.

There is a charge of $22.00 round trip to the Traverse City airport or bus depot.

Please note transportation requests must be submitted at least seven calendar days in advance or a late fee of an additional $30 will be charged to the student account..

PLEASE NOTE: It is the responsibility of the student to discuss this trip with his/her Division Director, Academic Instructors, and/or Private Lesson Instructors so that any conflicts with their classroom responsibilities or performance obligations are avoided or arrangements are made to make up any class work.

IMPORTANT: Students returning to campus in the middle of a class day are expected to attend afternoon obligations. They must speak to their Dean if there are extenuating circumstances that would exempt them from attending. Students returning on a delayed flight that causes them to arrive after midnight may be excused from their first hour class. They will be instructed by their Hall Staff upon arrival.
