Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, E. Tejada III (pronouns: they/them) has spent nine years working within Student Affairs in six different states in both professional and graduate positions, including a previous stint at Interlochen Arts Academy as a RHC within Residence Life (Picasso and DeRoy). Within their various roles, E. has advocated for and worked to educate others in inclusive and equitable support for students and staff of all identities at various institutions and most recently spent 2.5 years establishing the first LGBTQ+ Resource Center at Marquette University, a private Catholic Jesuit institution. Additionally, E.'s research on transgender college students, specifically Trans Non-Binary students, informs the work they do to better support the gamut of gender-diversity on our campus. As a artist by trade and a seasoned Student Affairs professional, E. is happy and excited to return to a campus, area, and state that they love dearly.
